Prospective Players
There’s a gap after football. We exist to fill it.
For most athletes, football ends sooner than desired. After high school, the majority won’t have the opportunity to play in college. Those who do make it to college, many won’t finish. Those who finish rarely move on to the professional level.
What’s left are limited options relocating, playing overseas, switching to game that’s not 11man, or walking away from football altogether.
The Round Rock Bison exist for the players who aren’t done yet. We provide a real opportunity for athletes who still want to compete
This program is for players who:
- Aren’t ready to hang it up just because the system ran out of room
- Still love the preparation, competition, and brotherhood of football
- Looking for an opportunity to get back on the field
If you are not finished competing this is your chance.
Submitting interest does not guarantee a roster spot. All players are evaluated based on team needs and fit. Players interested in being evaluated by our coaching should submit their information and complete the evaluation fee.
Player Expectations
Prospective players should understand that participation with the Round Rock Bison requires commitment and accountability. Roster spots are earned and maintained through preparation, communication, and performance.
Players should be prepared for a seasonal commitment that includes regular practices, travel for away games, and other responsibilities.
This program is designed for athletes who can prioritize football alongside work, school, or other obligations.
Attendance at scheduled practices and games.
Respect for coaches, staff, and teammates.
Timely communication and reliability.
Adherence to team standards and conduct.
Evaluation Process
Our evaluation process is designed to identify players who are committed, prepared, and a strong fit for our program. Every step focuses on effort, accountability, and team needs to ensure the right players earn roster opportunities.
- Submit Player Interest: Complete the Player Interest form with accurate information and any relevant playing history.
- Initial Review: Our staff reviews submissions based on team needs, positions, and roster availability.
- Evaluation Process: Selected players may be invited to participate in practices or evaluation opportunities.
- Roster Evaluation Roster spots are offered based on performance, commitment, and team fit.
