Bison Blitz Sharks Early, Roll to Statement Win
The Bison exploded out of the gate with a 22-0 lead in the first five minutes of the opening quarter and never looked back, overwhelming the South Texas Sharks in a dominant all-around performance. From the opening possession on, Round Rock set the tone with fast-strike offense, opportunistic defense, and impact special teams.
Quarterback Josh Harris led the charge for the Herd, accounting for four total touchdowns with three passing scores and one rushing touchdown. He kept the offense in rhythm early, pushed the ball downfield, and helped turn a quick start into a runaway performance.
The defense matched that energy every step of the way. The Bison came up with two interceptions, including a pick-six that added to the early avalanche and put even more pressure on the Sharks. Round Rock swarmed to the football, created takeaways, and never allowed South Texas to settle in.
Special teams added to the statement, too, with a blocked punt that helped swing field position and keep momentum firmly on the Bison sideline.
By the time the first quarter settled, the message was clear: Round Rock had no plans to let up. The Bison seized control early, stayed aggressive, and delivered one of their most complete performances of the season against South Texas.
